Both of these printers from Monoprice make great printers for people just getting started. They offer reasonable prices, they come pre assembled and both have pretty active communities.
I personally recommend the Select Mini as the printer people start with since it has a little bit simpler operation and its Cartesian movement system is more common and easy to understand. It also offers a larger build area but is typically about $30 more than the mini delta.
That said I have owned both and I like to Mini Delta since I can take it with me easily when I got talk to my children’s class about 3D printing or present to my local makerspace.
